Foreign media: XRP approaches $1, BTC remains in a narrow range

Foreign media analysis indicates that on August 13, the crypto market continued its divergence. XRP is steadily approaching the $1 psychological level, while Bitcoin remains within the $62,000 to $64,000 range and has yet to break out in a clear direction. In comparison, Zcash maintains relative strength, and the pace of Dogecoin’s decline has slowed down.

XRP Eyes $1 Support

The article notes that XRP’s current structure is still relatively weak, with its price around $1.03, close to a key psychological support. Its short- and medium-term moving averages remain above the price, with resistance forming in the $1.06 to $1.08 region. The 100-day moving average is around $1.18, providing more significant pressure.

From a momentum perspective, XRP’s relative strength indicator is near the oversold area but has not yet signaled a confirmed bottom. If the daily chart falls below $1 and trading volume increases, the market may decline further. Only if it regains the $1.06 to $1.08 levels could short-term pressure begin to ease.

ZEC Holds Strong Range

Among several assets, ZEC’s performance has been comparatively more stable. The article states ZEC is currently around $488 and remains above its 50-day and 100-day moving averages, indicating that the midterm upward structure has not yet been broken. However, the short-term averages near $495 and the round number of $500 still act as direct resistance.

If the price regains $500, the upper target may again move towards $520 to $540, and further towards the previous $560 to $580 range. On the downside, the first support band is from $469 to $483. The article also notes that ZEC trading volume has dropped significantly compared to the sharp increase earlier this year, meaning without new buyers, breaking through $500 remains challenging.

DOGE Decline Slows, BTC Continues to Consolidate

The article suggests that although DOGE remains in a downtrend, recent selling pressure has shown signs of weakening. Its price is around $0.0705, and over the past few weeks has generally stayed between $0.067 and $0.070. If it can recover $0.072 to $0.073 in the short term, the market may see further rebound towards $0.08; if it loses $0.067, it could weaken again.

Regarding Bitcoin, the article states BTC is now around $63,605, still consolidating repeatedly near the $63,600 to $64,000 range. A compressed zone has formed near the short-term moving averages, with neither buyers nor sellers gaining a clear advantage. The main recovery target above remains near $66,700; only with a sustained move above this could the market test the $70,000 to $72,000 range once more.

On the contrary, if Bitcoin drops below $62,000, the current consolidation structure could be broken, and the market may revisit $60,000 or even test the June lows. Overall, the analysis finds a divergence within mainstream tokens, but Bitcoin has not yet provided a signal for trend reversal.
