Lithium Argentina Q2 2026 profit falls as company cites US$ 38 million deferred tax charge at Cauchari-Olaroz JV

- Cauchari-Olaroz generated US$ 174 million revenue on a US$ 19,563 per-tonne realized price; production reached 9,280 tonnes despite a planned maintenance shutdown.
- Cash operating costs rose to US$ 5,897 per tonne, reflecting lower sales volumes, higher energy costs, and a stronger Argentine peso.
- Exar net income fell to US$ 27 million from US$ 49 million in Q1, mainly due to a US$ 38.1 million non-cash deferred tax charge.
- Liquidity totaled US$ 230 million at June 30, including US$ 100 million cash; Cauchari-Olaroz reduced net debt by US$ 114 million.
