Low-sulfur fuel oil futures rose by 2.89%, fuel oil futures increased by 2.36%, asphalt futures climbed 1.37%, polypropylene futures went up 1.19%, and coking coal futures gained 1.14%.

BP reportedly plans to sell its 20% stake in the Cocuina gas field in Venezuela to the National Gas Company (NGC) of Trinidad and Tobago. Seventy percent of the gas produced from this field will be used for liquefied natural gas production, while the remainder will be supplied to the petrochemical industry. The final investment decision for this project is expected to be made by the end of 2026.
