European natural gas futures fell by about 7% this week

On Friday (August 7), late in the European session, ICE UK natural gas futures fell by 0.9%, quoted at 135.680 pence per therm, with a cumulative drop of 5.96% this week. TTF benchmark Dutch natural gas futures fell by 5.03%, quoted at 55.380 euros per megawatt-hour, with a cumulative decline of 6.88% this week, overall showing an M-shaped trend and remaining mostly in a downward state. ICE EU carbon emission trading allowances (futures price) rose by 1.82%, quoted at 82.85 euros per ton, up 2.60% for the week.
