According to informed traders, Asian refiners have recently purchased several cargoes of US crude oil, which will be shipped in September, with each purchase amounting to about 2 million barrels. Buyers include Thailand's PTT and South Korea's SK Energy. It is also reported that Japanese refiner Idemitsu has purchased some US crude oil, but the final destination of these cargoes is still unclear.
