Clem Chambers says copper’s ‘bubble’ is still to come as prices hit new highs
Copper may be hitting fresh highs, but veteran market commentator Clem Chambers believes the metal’s biggest move is still ahead.
Speaking to MINING.com’s Top of Mine, Chambers said copper has yet to experience the boom-and-bust phase already seen in gold and silver, arguing that rising demand from AI infrastructure and U.S. reindustrialization could turn the metal into a critical bottleneck.
Chambers also explains why he remains cautious on gold and silver, why he prefers large copper miners to explorers, and why he believes many gold producers should be delivering much stronger returns at current metal prices.
