July 28 (Reuters) - The Nasdaq fell on Tuesday, mirroring a cautious mood across global markets toward AI chip stocks on concerns about hefty corporate spending and rising Chinese competition, ahead of earnings from some of the biggest companies on Wall Street. .N

At 11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 1.11% at 52,784.33. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.31% at 7,435.89, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 0.13% at 24,900.04.
