Circle: The Essence of Stablecoins is Transferable US Dollars via the Internet
On July 20, Circle stated the core logic behind understanding USDC and its various application scenarios: it is a dollar circulated on the blockchain, supported by a 1:1 reserve of high-quality, highly liquid assets, and subject to regulatory compliance. After the implementation of the GENIUS Act in January next year, USDC will become a core component of the U.S. financial system. Ordinary user needs include 24/7 transfers, speed comparable to sending an email, security, reliability, and low transaction fees. For businesses, it can be used for treasury management; financial institutions can leverage it to pay margins at clearinghouses, significantly enhancing operational efficiency.
