AngelList will stop supporting cryptocurrency investments from the end of July due to the suspension of services by a third-party payment provider.

Foresight News reports that, according to the official AngelList support page announcement, starting from July 31, 2026, the AngelList platform will no longer support investment financing using cryptocurrencies. The announcement states that its third-party cryptocurrency payment provider will soon cease related services, so the option to complete new investments, fundraising, or rolling fund subscriptions with digital assets such as USDC, USDT, DAI, and ETH will be suspended across the platform until further notice. Other financing methods, such as ACH transfers and wire transfers, will not be affected.

The announcement notes that investments with financing completed on or before July 31, 2026, will not be affected by this change, and no action is required from users; after this date, users will need to use ACH or wire transfers to complete payments. For capital commitments that are still pending and were originally planned to be contributed in cryptocurrency, AngelList recommends that investors transfer all corresponding crypto assets to their AngelList account by July 30 for future use, or switch to completing subsequent contributions via wire transfer or ACH. AngelList states that it is evaluating the possibility of restoring digital asset financing functionality through a new service provider, but there is no clear timetable yet.
