Snap acquires spatial augmented reality technology company Illumix

Gelonghui, June 4th | According to Variety, Snap has acquired spatial augmented reality (AR) technology company Illumix to further strengthen its AR technology capabilities. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. After the acquisition, Snap will integrate Illumix's technology and platform into its own business system to advance the development of the next-generation Spectacles smart glasses. Most of Illumix's employees will also join Snap.
