EURC Stablecoin Supply Hits Record High, Market Cap Approaches $100 Million
The supply of EURC stablecoin issued by Circle has reportedly reached an all-time high of more than $90 million, thanks to significant growth on the Coinbase-incubated ethereum Layer2 network Base.EURC currently has a circulating supply of 91.8 million coins, which equates to a market cap of $99.2 million.
Patrick Hansen, Circle's Senior Director of EU Strategy and Policy, posted on X: ‘EURC is the largest euro stablecoin by market cap and its dominance is growing. For the first time, it has surpassed the €90 million mark in circulating supply.’ Tether's euro stablecoin EURT, which is the second largest euro stablecoin after EURC, is said to have a current supply of 25.6 million, equivalent to a market capitalisation of $27.5 million.
