Cash Plus (Cash+) Now Supported as Margin in Unified Trading Account
2026-09-21 05:002710
To improve users' capital efficiency, Bitget now supports using Cash Plus (Cash+) holdings as valid margin in the Unified Trading Account (UTA). While continuing to earn Cash+ yield, users can now put that same balance to work as trading margin — achieving both "earning" and "trading capital efficiency" at once, with zero conversion loss. Under UTA mode, Cash+ will automatically flow into the UTA account. Currently live on web; app support will follow in the next version release.
What's New
-
Cash+ is now supported as a qualified margin asset in the Unified Trading Account, at an exchange rate of 1:1 with USDT, with a discount rate aligned with USDC.
-
Once enabled, Cash+ continues to accrue Cash+ yield while also counting toward your Unified Trading Account equity and participating in margin calculations.
-
Under Unified Trading Account mode, Cash+ can be transferred in from the Funding account, OTC account, or Unified Trading Account, and transferred out to the Funding account or Unified Trading Account.
How to Enable
-
Log in to Bitget and go to Unified Trading Account.
-
Open Account mode settings and switch your account mode to Advanced mode. Advanced mode supports Spot, Futures (cross/isolated margin), and Leverage, and is required to use Cash+ as margin.
-
Open Collateral settings, find the "Enable Cash+ as collateral" toggle at the bottom of the page, turn it on, and click Confirm to complete setup.
-
Once set up, Cash+ will appear in your Unified Trading Account's asset list and count toward available margin — while remaining redeemable/subscribable from your Earn account as usual.
You can also enable this directly from the Earn account page: a banner will appear above the Cash Plus module on the Earn page — click Enable now to jump straight to setup.
Things to Know
-
Cash+ enabled as Unified Trading Account margin is not shown in your Earn account balance — subscription and redemption of the asset must still be done from the Earn account.
-
If the Unified Trading Account triggers forced liquidation, the system liquidates assets according to the Unified Trading Account's configured liquidation order. If Cash+ is reached in that process, it will be used for liquidation. For Cash+ positions made up of USDT and USDC, the system liquidates the USDT portion first; if the USDT portion is insufficient, the USDC portion is liquidated next.
-
Transferring Cash+ out of the Unified Trading Account — if a partial transfer — may affect the calculation of that day's earnings.
-
Cash+'s discount rate follows Bitget's published margin discount rate standard. See: detials.
Risk Reminder
Funds in the Unified Trading Account are shared cross margin. Enabling or transferring Cash+ as collateral may affect your margin ratio and liquidation risk on open positions — please fully assess your risk tolerance before enabling and proceed with caution.
