Update on ROI calculation for the copy trading leaderboard

Dear Bitget users, we have recently upgraded the ROI calculation method for elite traders on the futures copy trading, CFD copy trading, and spot copy trading leaderboards.
Previously, a small number of elite traders were able to artificially inflate their ROI rankings through the following approach: opening a position with a small amount of funds within a given hour, then transferring in a large amount to trade and quickly withdrawing it after making a profit. This exploited a loophole in the original formula, which used only the "initial assets" as the denominator, allowing ROI figures to be inflated. This affected your ability to accurately assess an elite trader's true performance.
We have made the following adjustment:
A unified new algorithm has been applied across all three product lines (futures / CFD / spot): Hourly ROI = net trading PnL for the hour ÷ maximum available capital for the hour.
The new formula fully accounts for all fund movements within the hour, so ROI more accurately reflects an elite trader's true trading ability.
Impact on you

If an elite trader previously had abnormal fund transfer activity, their ROI figure may show a notable decrease. This is expected.

For elite traders with no abnormal activity, historical ROI figures are not affected. Trades made after this update will be calculated using the new algorithm.

This is a back-end calculation logic fix only. There are no changes to how anything is displayed on the platform.
