US stocks open with tech stocks weakening; Qualcomm falls 13%, AMD drops 7%

At the opening of the US stock market, the Dow Jones rose by 0.56%, the S&P 500 index fell by 0.13%, and the Nasdaq fell by 0.8%. The market is concerned that a US "blue wave" might lead to stricter regulation of AI and data centers, causing tech stocks to weaken. Qualcomm (QCOM.US) fell by 13%, AMD (AMD.US) fell by 7%, Micron Technology (MU.US) dropped 4.9%, Tesla (TSLA.US) decreased 3.5%, and SpaceX (SPCX.US) dropped 4%. The Nasdaq Golden Dragon China Index rose by 2.5%.
