Centrifuge has partnered with Schroders to bring its emerging markets debt investment strategy to Solana. The launch introduces the Schroder International Selection Fund Emerging Market Bond through tokenization.

Consequently, investors gain access to an asset class that remains underrepresented in blockchain-based financial markets. The development also expands institutional investment opportunities beyond traditional tokenized cash products.

According to the press release, Schroders manages more than $1 trillion in assets and brings over 50 years of emerging markets debt experience. Its specialist team includes more than 40 investment professionals covering sovereign, corporate, and local-currency debt.

Additionally, the Solana deployment marks Schroders’ first move onto the blockchain network. Centrifuge aims to connect established investment strategies with decentralized financial applications. This could create new opportunities for collateral management, investment distribution, and portfolio development.

Nick Ducoff, Head of Institutional Growth at Solana Foundation, sees the launch as an important step for onchain capital markets. He believes established asset managers can help expand blockchain-based investment products.

Moreover, Solana already hosts more than $4 billion in tokenized real-world assets. Schroders’ entry could strengthen institutional confidence in public blockchain infrastructure. Hence, the partnership signals growing interest in bringing professionally managed investment strategies into digital financial markets.
