Former Visa CEO Joe Saunders Dies at 80

06:57 PM EST, 11/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Joseph Saunders, who led Visa (V) through its $17.9 billion initial public offering in 2008, died Monday at age 80, Bloomberg reported Tuesday. Saunders served as CEO from 2007 to 2012, overseeing the company's transition from a bank-owned association to a publicly traded company. He later served as executive chairman before leaving Visa in 2013, the report said.
