Ardelyx Completes Enrollment in Phase 3 Ibsrela Trial in Chronic Idiopathic Constipation

10:17 AM EST, 11/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ardelyx (ARDX) said Tuesday it fully enrolled patients ahead of schedule in a phase 3 trial of Ibsrela in adults with chronic idiopathic constipation. Topline results are expected in H2 of 2027, the company said. The placebo-controlled study will give patients twice-daily doses over 26 weeks to assess the primary endpoint of whether the drug relieves constipation, the company said.
