CME Group Posts 15% Rise in October Average Daily Volume

10:03 AM EST, 11/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- CME Group (CME) reported Tuesday an average daily volume, or ADV, of 30 million contracts in October, up 15% from a year earlier. The October ADV is a new record, beating the previous 26.3 million contracts reached in October 2025, CME Group said. Interest rate ADV for the month also increased by 28% to 14.8 million contracts, while equity index ADV climbed 15% to 8.8 million contracts, the company added.
