05:39 AM EST, 11/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Teva Pharmaceutical (TEVA) and Samsung Bioepis said Tuesday they signed an agreement to commercialize two FDA-approved immunology biosimilars in the U.S. The companies said the products are infliximab-abda, a biosimilar to Remicade, and etanercept-ykro, a biosimilar to Enbrel, both are being used to treat chronic inflammatory and autoimmune conditions. Under the agreement, Teva will receive US commercialization rights to etanercept-ykro when the deal closes, while rights to infliximab-abda will transfer in Q3 2027, the companies said. Teva has not yet announced when it plans to launch etanercept-ykro in the US, the companies said, adding that the transaction is expected to close by the end of 2026. Teva will make upfront payments to Samsung Bioepis over three years, while Samsung Bioepis will continue to oversee regulatory matters and manufacturing for both products, the companies said. They added Samsung Bioepis may also receive additional payments tied to product launches and sales, while the companies will share commercialization profits.
