Chainlink partners with Hanwha for global RWA tokenization platform, LINK eyes $15.43
Chainlink has entered into a strategic partnership with Hanwha Investment & Securities, a financial services arm of the South Korean conglomerate Hanwha Group, to deliver a global platform for real-world asset (RWA) tokenization. Chainlink will provide both its data standards and cross-chain interoperability protocol (CCIP) as the foundation for Hanwha’s new infrastructure, aiming to increase institutional access to blockchain-based assets worldwide.
Hanwha adopts Chainlink for tokenization project
Hanwha Investment & Securities, a subsidiary of Hanwha Group listed in the Fortune Global 500, selected Chainlink to power its upcoming tokenization infrastructure for financial institutions worldwide. Under the agreement, Hanwha will integrate Chainlink’s price and net asset value (NAV) data standards and utilize Chainlink’s CCIP protocol to ensure secure and seamless asset and liquidity transfers across both public and private blockchains.
A joint working group will also be established to explore the use of onchain finance in areas such as asset valuation, reserve validation, and the use of tokenized assets as collateral. Hanwha’s track record in traditional finance is expected to complement Chainlink’s technical expertise and extensive network in blockchain ecosystems.
Mini dictionary: Hanwha Group is one of South Korea’s largest conglomerates, involved in finance, manufacturing, and energy. Hanwha Investment & Securities provides investment banking, brokerage, and financial management services.
The new platform aims to set a standard for enterprise tokenization by leveraging Chainlink’s reliable data feeds and blockchain interoperability, further bridging traditional and decentralized finance.
Institutional focus sharpens Chainlink’s position in RWA markets
The partnership is positioned to strengthen Chainlink’s foothold in the burgeoning RWA sector, which involves representing physical or financial assets like securities, real estate, and commodities as blockchain tokens. Accurate data feeds and NAV calculations are seen as essential for tokenized investment vehicles, and cross-chain connectivity is expected to improve distribution and liquidity for such instruments across different blockchain networks.
Hanwha’s existing relationships with leading asset managers could accelerate the creation and deployment of institutional tokenization solutions. However, partners emphasized that the collaboration does not automatically translate into immediate demand for LINK or other tokens, with success depending on actual usage and adoption of the platform.
| Core focus | Blockchain data & interoperability | Financial services & asset management |
| Role in partnership | Provides CCIP protocol & data oracles | Integrates infrastructure for global tokenization |
| Main market | Global crypto/blockchain | Korean & international financial institutions |
Chainlink’s collaboration with Hanwha will integrate the CCIP protocol and trusted price/NAV feeds, forming new standards for institutional asset tokenization and cross-chain operations.
Strategies from both companies underscore a focus on transparent asset information and interoperability as foundations for broader adoption of blockchain technology in finance.
LINK price approaches critical support as analyst eyes $15.43 target
Analyst Giannis Andreou noted that LINK’s price is nearing a crucial area of support around $10—a zone marked by the intersection of horizontal support and a rising trendline. According to Andreou, an entry price at $10.153 could present an opportunity for buyers to defend this level, potentially fueling a subsequent rebound toward $13, and ultimately targeting $15.435.
Andreou’s identified trading range sets a stop loss at $9.238, with a take profit level of $15.435, suggesting a reward-to-risk ratio of 5.77 to 1. He sees the $13 mark as an intermediate target before aiming higher if the price action confirms a new bullish momentum.
If LINK maintains support above $10, the path opens for a recovery toward $13 and a potential move to $15.435. However, dropping below $9.238 would invalidate the current strategy.
Sustaining price action above the $10 support level is seen as critical for LINK’s bullish outlook; failing to hold this support could put further pressure on prices and delay hopes for recovery.
Regulatory and market catalysts ahead
The collaboration anticipates a boost from South Korea’s planned tokenized securities regulations, scheduled for rollout in February 2027. These regulations could enable issuing blockchain-based securities under new standards, potentially broadening institutional participation.
If Hanwha’s tokenization platform gains traction, Chainlink’s role in providing infrastructure could be further solidified within both digital and traditional financial markets. The near-term direction of LINK’s price will likely depend on the strength of buyer interest in the $10 support area, setting the stage for any substantial upward moves toward $13 and $15.435.
