EHang Opens Thailand Hub to Support Regional eVTOL Deployment

06:48 AM EDT, 10/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- EHang (EH) has established a regional hub in Thailand to support deployment of its electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft across Southeast Asia and other emerging markets, the company said Friday. EHang plans to initially deploy 25 EH216-S pilotless passenger aircraft in Thailand for flight validation, operational preparation, and project implementation across the region, it said. The hub will also support EHang's aerial logistics, emergency response and aerial media businesses. EHang has deployed about 1,200 formation drones in Thailand for light shows and plans to expand the fleet to more than 10,000 units, the company said.
