Expert Says Most People Don’t Realize What’s About to Hit XRP. Here’s why
XRP has been trading below a downward resistance line since September 25. Crypto analyst Steph Is Crypto says that resistance is now under serious pressure.
In a recent video shared on X, the analyst explains that XRP is making its first genuine attempt to break above that trend line since it formed.
Steph Is Crypto notes that the candlestick close chart, rather than the wick-heavy standard view, makes the signal easier to read. The analyst says a daily close above $1.31, preferably $1.32, would represent the earliest confirmation of a breakout.
MACD Cross Adds Weight to the Case
Alongside the trend line test, a bullish MACD cross is forming on the daily chart. Steph Is Crypto says the blue line is on the verge of crossing above the orange line, with confirmation expected within roughly 24 hours.
The analyst points to a comparable setup from August 18. That cross preceded a significant price rally for XRP over a short period. Steph Is Crypto says a similar outcome is possible if the daily candle closes above $1.31 in the near term.
Price Targets If the Breakout Holds
Steph Is Crypto identifies $1.40 as the first major target. A break above that level, the analyst says, opens the door to $1.44, $1.50, and potentially higher in the short term.
The analyst describes short-term bullish momentum as building but stresses that the daily candle close remains the key condition. Without it, the setup lacks confirmation.

Where XRP Stands
XRP’s current setup has technical analysts watching closely. The combination of a trend line test and a maturing MACD cross on the daily chart gives the current moment some weight.
Steph Is Crypto says most market participants remain bearish and expect lower prices. The analyst believes that sentiment may soon shift if the breakout conditions are met.

In October, U.S. LNG exports reached 7.92 million metric tons, only slightly below the record high of 8.01 million metric tons set in April this year, and saw a significant month-on-month increase from 7.12 million metric tons in September. Europe continues to expand its purchases of U.S. LNG, with its share surging 8 percentage points from the previous month to 60%. Analysts point out that Europe's underground gas storage facilities are nearly full; if temperatures in the Northern Hemisphere remain normal this winter, high global inventories may put downward pressure on prices.
