Republic Services Q3 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise; Board Approves $5 Billion Stock Buyback

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.93. Revenue in the three months ended Sept. 30 rose to $4.56 billion from $4.21 billion a year earlier. Analysts expected $4.42 billion. The company raised full-year revenue guidance to the range of $17.425 billion to $17.475 billion from the prior forecast of $17.2 billion to $17.3 billion. Analysts expect $17.33 billion. The board approved a new $5 billion share repurchase authorization effective Jan. 1 that will remain in place through Dec. 31, 2029. The company maintained its quarterly dividend at $0.67 a share, payable Jan. 15 to stockholders of record Jan. 4.
