US 7-Year Auction High Yield Falls From Previous Month, Demand Higher

01:06 PM EDT, 10/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The US Treasury's 7-year auction hit a high yield of 4.894% on Thursday, down from the 5.085% high in the previous auction. The bid to cover ratio for the auction was 2.46, above the 2.42 ratio in the previous auction. Dealers represented 53.01% of the bids, with direct bidders at 18.56% and indirect bidders at 28.43%. For takedown, dealers took 9.41%, with direct bidders at 32.82% and indirect bidders at 57.77%.
