09:04 AM EDT, 10/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Financial stocks were edging higher premarket Thursday, with the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) advancing by 1.4%. The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was up 4.1% and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was 4.1% lower. Visa (V) and Tencent signed a memorandum of understanding covering international payments, AI-supported commerce, and global business growth, Tencent said. Visa shares were up 1.7% premarket.
