BNB Chain’s RWA supply rises 24% to $4.96 billion, price tests $704 support
BNB Chain, one of the leading blockchain networks for decentralized applications and assets, reported a significant increase in tokenized real-world asset (RWA) supply during the third quarter, highlighting the network’s growing role in digital finance. According to a recent update, the total supply of RWAs on BNB Chain surged 24% to $4.96 billion over the period.
Expansion in RWA and Lending Markets
The third-quarter data from BNB Chain showed robust growth not only in RWA supply but also across its lending markets. Deposits for loans reached $3.57 billion after climbing 42%, while borrowings increased by 33% to $940 million. These figures suggest expanding participation and liquidity in the network’s lending ecosystem.
The lending markets also saw remarkable growth in the supply of tokenized equities, which increased almost tenfold, jumping from $6 million to $62 million. The sharp rise in tokenized stocks highlights the accelerating adoption of blockchain-based representations of traditional financial assets for use across various decentralized finance applications.
This growth in tokenized equities reflects the ability of lending protocols to leverage a broader array of financial products, enabling users to access capital with tokenized stocks as collateral or to lend these assets for returns.
Mini dictionary: Real-world assets (RWAs) are physical or traditional financial assets like real estate, stocks, or commodities that are digitized and represented on a blockchain network. Tokenizing RWAs allows these assets to be traded and used in decentralized applications.
Despite the sharp increase in RWAs and lending market activity, it remains unclear whether this growth will directly translate into increased demand for the BNB token itself. Demand for BNB often depends on how the token is integrated into network fees and protocol usage.
| RWA Supply | $4.00 billion | $4.96 billion | +24% |
| Lending Deposits | $2.51 billion | $3.57 billion | +42% |
| Lending Borrowings | $707 million | $940 million | +33% |
| Tokenized Equities in Lending | $6 million | $62 million | +933% |
Implications for the BNB Ecosystem
The rapid rise in tokenized assets and equities has supported BNB Chain’s reputation as a hub for innovative on-chain finance solutions. Elevated deposits and more diversified collateral could increase overall capital efficiency in decentralized lending. Analysts noted that while these developments reinforce the chain’s ecosystem growth, they do not automatically mean an increase in BNB token price, as broader demand drivers and usage fundamentals play a role.
“The strengthening of tokenized finance activity highlights the maturing landscape on BNB Chain, but ecosystem expansion needs to be viewed separately from immediate token price performance,” market commentators observed.
Industry participants will be monitoring how further growth of tokenized assets affects capital flows and utility across the network.
BNB Price Nears Key Technical Levels
Crypto analyst Crypto Patel identified $704 as a key technical support for BNB, stating that holding this level is important for sustaining a bullish outlook. He pointed out that bulls need to push the price above $810 to confirm potential upward momentum.
Should BNB fail to maintain $704 on a high time frame closing basis, it could open the door to a decline towards the $640–$600 zone. Conversely, a successful defense and subsequent strength above $810 would reinforce the prospect of further gains.
If BNB manages to protect the $704 support and surges past $810, the bullish case may strengthen. However, a high time frame close below $704 might expose BNB to a deeper correction, with attention turning to the $640–$600 region.
The interplay between rapid growth in tokenized assets and the technical positioning of BNB is likely to shape sentiment on the network in the coming months.
