Dollar General Sued by FTC, 20 States for Alleged Deceptive Pricing

01:22 PM EDT, 10/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Dollar General (DG) was sued by the Federal Trade Commission and 20 states for allegedly engaging in "long-running deceptive pricing practices," the agency said Monday. Specifically, Dollar General regularly charges customers more "than the prices displayed on shelves, price tags and advertisements," the FTC said. Dollar General didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires. Price: 128.93, Change: -3.76, Percent Change: -2.83
