Liying Crypto Talk: 10.26 Latest Market Analysis for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH)
Everyone! Bitcoin's current price is 80,750. Since the beginning of October until now, BTC has shown a textbook move of surging, pulling back, and stabilizing again. That previous sharp drop washed out all the weak hands. Although the price is now lingering below the moving averages, it’s clearly struggling to move lower — the 80,000 mark is acting like a solid support. This is the time that truly tests your mentality; don’t get shaken out by short-term volatility. This current period of low-volume sideways movement is often a prelude to the next big move. The EMA system is still bearish, but the MACD's bearish momentum is fading. After sticking close to the lower Bollinger Band at 80,037, the price is starting to revert towards the middle band at 80,565, and the bands are narrowing, hinting that increased volatility is on the horizon. As long as the price can hold above the Bollinger middle band, a rebound trend is confirmed.
Recommendation: Use a breakout strategy on the right side and operate cautiously:
Long plan: If it stabilizes above 81,000 with increased volume, try a light long. Set stop-loss at 79,000; target 81,200 first, and if it breaks through, look at 82,500 next.
Short plan: If it unexpectedly falls below 79,000, reverse and short at 78,800. Stop-loss at 79,500, and target 77,500.
Risk control tip: Currently in a volatile market — always keep position sizing within 5%, and never heavily bet in one direction.
Ethereum
Ethereum's current price is 2,355. After dropping from over 2,700 all the way down to 2,281, it’s now barely crawling back to 2,356, looking like it’s taking a breather. Many are asking if it's time to bottom fish — don’t rush, look at the technicals first before acting. The price has just climbed above the short-term moving average, but there’s a lot of resistance above. If you want to earn steadily without losses, wait for confirmation signals; don’t blindly chase highs or panic sell at lows. Patience is key — wait for the market to present opportunities. Looking at technical indicators, the EMA system is still bearish; price has just broken above EMA7, but EMA30 and EMA120 are still acting as resistance above, forming a triple-pressure setup. The MACD just made a bullish crossover below the zero line and the first red bar has appeared, indicating some short-term rebound momentum but it's still weak. After the Bollinger Bands narrowed, price rebounded near the lower band. The middle band at 2,389 is key resistance; if it can’t hold above this level, the rebound could end at any time. Overall, the bearish trend hasn’t changed, but oversold conditions call for a technical rebound.
Long: Enter on a pullback and stabilization at 2,340–2,345; stop-loss below 2,320; target 2,389, and if it breaks out, look at 2,413.
Short: Enter if price surges to 2,389–2,400 and is rejected; stop-loss above 2,420; target 2,300.
Risk control: Position sizing ≤ 5%. It’s better to miss a trade than to take a wrong one.
