(1) According to surveyed traders, the overall financing demand of the UK is expected to increase by £27.2 billion in the 2027/28 fiscal year, reaching £336.5 billion. (2) After the budget announcement, the market expects the median net issuance of short-term government bonds in the 2026/27 fiscal year to be revised up by £5.3 billion to £10.4 billion. (3) At the same time, the total issuance scale of government bonds in the 2026/27 fiscal year is expected to be raised by £3.7 billion to £251.8 billion.
