3D printing materials supplier Amaero (AMRO.US) restarts US IPO, fundraising drops 60% to $20 million
Amaero (AMRO.US) on Thursday resumed its initial public offering (IPO) plans in the United States and filed new documents with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), revealing a reduced number of shares to be issued.
According to Zhiyong Finance APP, Amaero (AMRO.US), a producer specializing in titanium and refractory metal powders for 3D printing in the defense and aerospace sectors, resumed its initial public offering (IPO) plans in the United States on Thursday. It submitted new documents to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), disclosing a reduced scale of stock issuance. The company is already listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. Amaero previously attempted a cross-listing on Nasdaq in September, but postponed the plan due to an unfavorable market environment. The exact date of the IPO has yet to be determined.
The company, headquartered in McDonald, Tennessee, now plans to issue 3.9 million shares at an assumed price of $5.15 per share, raising $20 million. This price corresponds to Amaero’s latest share price on the Australian Securities Exchange. Previously, the company had filed to issue 7.5 million shares at $7.06 per share, aiming to raise up to $53 million. Under the revised terms, Amaero’s fundraising will decrease by 62% compared to previous expectations, with the fully diluted market capitalization dropping to $143 million, a 35% decrease from earlier projections.
Amaero mainly produces spherical refractory metal and titanium alloy powders for additive manufacturing and also provides large near-net-shape components made by powder metallurgy hot isostatic pressing processes. Its products cover powder materials such as niobium, tungsten, tantalum, molybdenum, rhenium, and titanium alloys, designed specifically for the 3D printing of critical components in hypersonic weapon systems, satellite propulsion, strategic missiles, aerospace, and medical sectors.
Amaero was founded in 2013. For the twelve months ending June 30, 2026, the company achieved revenue of approximately $12 million. It plans to list on Nasdaq under the ticker “AMRO”. Baird and Lake Street Capital Markets are acting as joint bookrunners for the offering; former lead underwriter Stifel is no longer serving as an underwriter.

BUZZ-European telecom stocks fall after SpaceX reaches spectrum agreement
On Thursday, SpaceX SPCX.O announced it had reached an agreement (link) to acquire a portfolio of low-frequency band spectrum licenses across the United States, which will enable Starlink Mobile to become a major telecommunications operator in the US. Following this news, shares of European telecom service providers fell by 3% to 7%. Deutsche Telekom DTEGn.DE, which holds a 54% stake in T-Mobile US TMUS.O, saw its share price drop by 7%, set for its biggest single-day loss since June 2023. “Deutsche Telekom is negatively impacted as competition in the US market intensifies,” according to a local trader. This acquisition could potentially allow SpaceX to provide direct mobile communication services to smartphones from space in the future. Scotiabank pointed out, “SpaceX’s acquisition of spectrum in the US today makes the threat of hybrid networks more realistic, though network capacity and deployment economics in dense markets have yet to be validated.” Spanish operator Telefonica TEF.MC, France's Orange SA ORAN.PA, and UK’s Vodafone VOD.L all declined by about 3%.
