BTC, XRP, ADA Price: Key Support and Resistance Levels to Watch Through the End of 2026

Bitcoin, XRP, and Cardano have all bounced from their summer lows, but each remains below important resistance levels. Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve and other macroeconomic conditions will remain the market drivers through year-end.

The Fed remains the biggest external risk. On September 16, it raised its policy rate by 0.25 percentage points to 3.75%–4.00%, marking its first rate hike since July 2023. Markets currently see a relatively low chance of another hike at the October 27–28 meeting, but futures are pricing in a much higher probability of at least one hike by December 9.

High bond yields and a stronger dollar are additional headwinds for risk assets. The 10-year Treasury yield recently reached about 5.3%, while the dollar index hit an 18-month high.

Crypto demand has not disappeared, however. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded about $118 million in inflows on October 6, while spot XRP ETFs attracted $3.14M in inflows.

Bitcoin trades near $83,400 after gaining roughly 33% over the past 90 days. It was rejected near $87,000 on October 5, triggering liquidations of leveraged long positions.

Level Significance
$95,000–$96,000 Higher upside target
$90,000–$92,000 Major resistance
$87,000–$87,400 Key breakout zone
$84,300–$84,500 Immediate support
$74,000–$78,000 Broader demand zone
~$66,000 Deeper structural support

Bull case: A daily close above $87,400 on strong volume would put $90,000 in play, followed by $92,000 and potentially $95,000–$96,000.

Bear case: A close below $82,000 could expose $80,000 and then $75,000–$78,000. A much deeper break could eventually bring the $66,000 area into focus.

Standard Chartered has maintained a $100,000 year-end target, although bank forecasts should be treated as scenarios rather than guarantees.

XRP trades near $1.44 after rising from $0.98 to $1.70 in August. It has since entered a tighter range, with declining volume suggesting weaker conviction.

Level Significance
$1.80–$2.00 Major resistance
$1.60–$1.70 Breakout zone
$1.54–$1.55 First major resistance
$1.45–$1.46 Key support
$1.37–$1.40 Secondary support
$1.00–$1.20 Major demand zone

Bull case: A strong break above $1.55 could send XRP toward $1.63–$1.65, followed by $1.70 and potentially $1.80–$2.00.

Bear case: Losing $1.45 and failing to reclaim it would put $1.38 in focus, followed by $1.20–$1.30.

Upcoming XRP catalysts include the October 8 Evernorth Nasdaq listing and the October 9 XRP Ledger Batch upgrade.

ADA has been the strongest mover of the three recently, jumping about 11% on October 5 to a five-month high near $0.275. It has risen from roughly $0.137 in June, marking a gain of nearly 100%.

Level Significance
$0.40 Longer-term resistance
$0.31–$0.35 Major resistance zone
$0.275–$0.28 Immediate ceiling
$0.25–$0.26 Key support
$0.243 38.2% Fibonacci level
$0.228–$0.235 Deeper support

Bull case: Holding $0.25–$0.26 and breaking $0.28 would put $0.30 in play. A sustained move above $0.30 would strengthen the case for a larger trend reversal.

Bear case: A daily close below $0.26 could trigger further liquidations of leveraged long positions and send ADA toward $0.243 and potentially $0.23.

Bull: The Fed pauses, yields cool, and risk appetite improves. BTC breaks $87,400, XRP clears $1.55, and ADA moves through $0.30.

Base: The Fed remains restrictive, and markets stay range-bound. BTC trades roughly between $80,000 and $88,000, XRP between $1.38 and $1.70, and ADA between $0.23 and $0.30.

Bear: Hotter inflation, higher oil prices, or additional Fed tightening pushes yields higher. BTC loses $82,000, XRP falls below $1.45, and ADA gives back its breakout.
