Major financial institutions in the United States are nearing the next phase of blockchain adoption, with industry experts suggesting that large banks are transitioning from experimental pilots to the implementation of production-level blockchain infrastructure.
Deloitte interview highlights US banks’ move to real blockchain use, eyes on XRP, XLM, HBAR
US banks advance blockchain adoption
X Finance Bull, a well-known crypto analyst, drew attention to comments from Roy Ben-Hur in a recent Deloitte interview. Ben-Hur described how a growing number of US banks are shifting from testing distributed ledger technologies to actively rolling out services capable of operating tokenized assets and settlement systems on a 24/7 basis.
After years focused on proof-of-concept projects, many institutions now face competitive pressure to keep pace as digital asset markets continue to evolve. Ben-Hur warned that banks slow to adapt could lose ground in the rapidly transforming financial sector.
For years, holding utility-focused cryptocurrencies like $XRP, XLM, and HBAR required patience as most institutions restricted their involvement to pilot programs, but now the industry is moving toward adoption of full-scale blockchain systems capable of supporting round-the-clock markets.
X Finance Bull described the environment as favorable for assets such as XRP, XLM, and HBAR, each of which has spent years building the necessary infrastructure for large-scale financial applications. He mentioned their growing relevance to tokenized deposits, stablecoins, repo markets, and areas where collateral optimization is essential.
In a market where a single Fed decision or a sudden altcoin listing can change everything in seconds, traders are seeking to consolidate their tools. Smart investors are increasingly turning to privacy-first platforms like CryptoAppsy, allowing them to monitor real-time charts, receive price s, access coin-specific news, and review macroeconomic data—all on one interface without the need to open multiple apps or even create an account.
XRP’s connection with tokenized securities
Citing recent activity in Brazil, X Finance Bull highlighted CSD BR’s integration with the XRP Ledger, which now records more than BRL 22 trillion in registered assets. The integration links the public XRP Ledger to BTG Pactual investment-fund shares, introducing an additional record and audit layer while leaving current regulated frameworks intact.
This arrangement, X Finance Bull stated, enhances transparency, asset mobility, and programmability within established financial infrastructure. He also pointed to RLUSD and USDC as digital cash options now operating on the XRP Ledger, connecting various forms of digital value and increasing liquidity routes across tokenized assets and stablecoins.
The analyst stressed that institutional market makers could soon maintain XRP inventory if more financial markets begin utilizing the network for settlement between tokenized securities and digital currencies.
Stellar’s institutional partnerships grow
Turning to Stellar, X Finance Bull referred to the Depository Trust Company’s upcoming integration, which will connect its Tokenization Service to the Stellar public blockchain. Tokenized DTC assets are expected to reach the Stellar network in the first half of 2027.
Stellar’s connections with institutional asset managers such as Franklin Templeton, along with the presence of tokenized real-world assets and high volumes of stablecoin payments, point to active and expanding network participation.
XLM, the network’s native currency, supports Stellar’s transaction fees, reserve requirements, and payment routing. X Finance Bull argued that higher levels of institutional adoption could further boost the network’s economic activity.
Hedera’s focus on institutional collateral
For HBAR, the analyst highlighted developments in collateral optimization involving Lloyds Banking Group, Aberdeen Investments, and Archax. Testing has included tokenized money-market-fund units and UK government gilts as collateral for FX transactions, showcasing how digital assets can play a central role in traditional markets.
He also underscored recent advances in Archax’s tokenized-asset infrastructure, KAIO’s institutional fund framework, and Hedera’s role in Project Acacia as key indicators of blockchain’s potential for securities settlement, collateral management, and programmable payments.
Utility-focused tokens see institutional interest
X Finance Bull concluded that each network offers unique strengths within the wider digital financial system—XRP for liquidity between digital assets and currencies, XLM for asset distribution and payments, and HBAR for institutional tokenization and collateral efficiency.
He believes that further institutional adoption could drive meaningful demand for these utility tokens, shifting the focus from retail to professional markets needing interoperability, liquidity, and programmable financial services.

U.S. budget deficit soars to nearly $2 trillion, exceeding 6% of GDP; high interest rates and tax cuts further worsen the deficit
The US budget deficit for fiscal year 2026 has risen to $1.993 trillion, a year-on-year increase of 12%, marking the highest level since 2021 and projected to account for over 6% of GDP. High interest rates have pushed net interest payments to over $1.1 trillion, accounting for more than half of the deficit increase; lower-than-expected tax and tariff revenues have further worsened the financial shortfall. With just weeks left before the midterm elections, neither party intends to implement substantial fiscal consolidation, and the deficit outlook is highly dependent on the election results.
