Cardano has recorded a golden cross on its daily chart, marking the first occurrence of this bullish signal in 14 months. The 50-day moving average (MA 50) crossed above the 200-day moving average (MA 200), a formation often regarded by traders as indicating a potential upward trend in price action.
Cardano daily chart forms golden cross, new partnerships and node update announced
Golden cross forms as network activity rises
Golden cross signals had previously appeared for Cardano on shorter hourly timeframes, but the daily chart had not seen such an alignment since August 2025. At that time, Cardano saw a rally to a peak of $0.92 on August 14, 2025, but the price failed to sustain those levels amid increasing selling pressure in the subsequent months.
Following the August surge, Cardano’s daily chart recorded a death cross in November 2025, which was accompanied by prolonged downward momentum. The latest golden cross marks a potential shift in technical outlook, although analysts note that confirmation of a sustained bullish trend would likely require continuous support and positive fundamentals.
Cardano’s daily chart registered a golden cross for the first time in over a year, after a previous death cross in November 2025 preceded several months of declining prices.
Partnerships and increased enterprise integration
This week has seen a series of developments for Cardano, particularly in enterprise use and technical progress. Petrobras, a major energy company, selected Cardano as a public blockchain to enhance the verification of sustainability data in projects related to aviation fuel and renewable diesel.
Cardano also expanded its presence in Japan by forming a partnership with Pacific Meta. This collaboration is intended to blend Cardano’s infrastructure with Japanese market expertise and facilitate deeper enterprise integration within the region.

Transaction activity and node updates
On October 1, Cardano experienced its busiest day in the past week, with 43,181 transactions processed on the network. This rise in transaction volume reflects growing network activity as Cardano continues to advance its enterprise initiatives and partnerships.
Further technical progress was made with the release of Cardano node version 11.1.3, designed to address a specific IPv4 decoding issue introduced in a previous update. This release restored the network-order decoding behavior, returning to a standard employed before the 11.1 series.
Developers reported that node version 11.2, which will incorporate the majority of the Dijkstra upgrade scope—including a new block format and integration of Plutus V4 context—remains on track for release within the next two to three weeks. However, this version will not yet include the Leios enhancement.
A public testnet called DijkstraNet is expected to debut alongside version 11.2 to allow ecosystem-wide testing and further integration work. While the precise release date for node 11.3, which will serve as the hard fork candidate and deliver the full Dijkstra feature set including Leios, has not yet been set, efforts are underway to ensure seamless network upgrades.
| Current Release | 11.1.3 | Fixes IPv4 decoding, returns to previous network-order decoding | Available |
| Next Major Release | 11.2 | Dijkstra features (except Leios), new block format, Plutus V4 | Expected in 2–3 weeks |
| Hard Fork Candidate | 11.3 | Full Dijkstra feature set, Leios included | Release date TBA |
