September 30 saw an upward trend in international oil prices. At the close of the day, the price of light crude oil futures for November delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by $1.04 to close at $90.42 per barrel, an increase of 1.16%. The price of November delivery Brent crude oil futures on the London ICE increased by $0.94 to close at $103.53 per barrel, a rise of 0.92%. This upward movement in oil prices continues the previously bullish trend in the international crude oil market. The market generally believes that expectations regarding supply and demand are the core factors influencing oil price trends. Going forward, OPEC+'s production policies and changes in energy demand in major global economies will continue to impact crude oil price movements.
