KKR Launches Akrapoint Equipment Finance Platform With $350 Million Commitment

(KKR) said Tuesday it has launched Akrapoint Commercial Capital, a mid-ticket equipment finance company focused on small and middle-market US businesses. Investment funds managed by KKR will commit $350 million through the firm's Asset-Based Finance strategy to support the platform, the company said. Akrapoint will finance vocational assets, specialty trailers and industrial equipment in industries including manufacturing, energy, construction and transportation, the company said.
