PTC Therapeutics Closes Acquisition of the ST-920 Gene Therapy for Fabry Disease

04:54 PM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- PTC Therapeutics (PTCT) said late Monday it completed the acquisition of ST-920, a gene therapy for Fabry disease, a rare genetic disorder, from Sangamo Therapeutics. A rolling biologics license application submission to the US Food and Drug Administration for accelerated approval of the therapy is expected to be completed in Q4, according to a statement.
