Solana’s price rallied roughly 5.2% over 24 hours to trade near $113.85, gaining more than 10% in the past week and crossing a key resistance level that had capped buyers in recent sessions.
Solana rises 5%, breaks $110 resistance as ZETA token migration fuels rally
Fresh network catalyst supports momentum
The latest price surge came as ZetaChain holders approved a plan to migrate the ZETA token to Solana. This decision brings a new project onto the Solana network at a time when bullish momentum for SOL is already accelerating. CoinGecko has highlighted the token migration as a significant driver behind the current rally.
Earlier in June, Solana struggled to find firm footing above $100, with the $106 to $110 range serving as a persistent barrier for buyers. Now that SOL has surpassed this region, analysts have identified $117 to $120 as the next major area to watch on the charts.
Institutional inflows highlight sustained demand
Institutional participation has continued to expand, lending further support to Solana’s climb. Exchange-traded funds focused on Solana have now recorded 12 consecutive weeks of inflows. Notably, Bitwise’s Solana Staking ETF recently surpassed $1 billion in assets under management, reflecting growing institutional interest in the asset.
This stream of institutional capital, combined with strengthening network activity and ecosystem developments, gives Solana a more robust backdrop compared to previous recovery attempts. Even during periods of price weakness earlier this year, key adoption metrics continued to trend higher.
Coinpaper pointed out that Solana’s price fell under $100 at a time when tokenized-equity activity on the network was growing, underscoring a divergence between market value and on-chain growth.
Technical outlook and meme token activity
As SOL builds support above the $117 to $120 range, analysts believe the next significant target lies between $145 and $150, based on previous Coinpaper analysis. Failure to hold above $110 could indicate a weaker breakout, while slipping below $105 would return focus to the $100 support region.
The importance of monitoring both price levels and investor behavior becomes even clearer in the context of the rapidly evolving meme token market. In this environment, trends can translate into outsized returns within days. Data from Fomo App shows a trader turning a $99 investment in “Niu Lai” into roughly $370,000, capturing the speculative intensity of these tokens.
Fomo App provides integrated token discovery and trading, featuring social feeds, investor rankings, and trade s, making it easier to track both price action and shifting investor strategies.
With Solana extending its gains and new projects like ZETA joining the ecosystem, all eyes remain on key support and resistance levels in the sessions ahead.
