Equinox Gold to Redeem $172.5 Million Senior Convertible Notes

06:58 AM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Equinox Gold (EQX) will exercise its right to redeem its outstanding $172.5 million of 4.75% senior convertible notes due Oct. 15, 2028, the company said Monday. The notes were issued under a 2023 indenture, under which the company will redeem on Oct. 20 all the notes that have not been converted. The company said it expects to issue up to about 28.5 million common shares if all the notes are converted.
