According to Bild on Friday, the German government plans to cut the energy tax on gasoline by 0.14 euros (approximately $0.16) per liter. In addition, Berlin is reportedly drafting a gasoline price cap linked to oil prices. The government's plan still needs to be discussed with the governors of Germany's federal states.
