BUZZ-Viant Technology shares rebound after the cancellation of a planned secondary offering by its co-founders

- ** Ad tech company Viant Technology (stock code: DSP.O) rose 8.8% to $10.90 before the open on Friday after the company withdrew its secondary public offering plan.

** Irvine, California-based Viant said, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), that due to current market conditions, the company and a shareholder have decided to withdraw the planned offering of 8.5 million shares (link).

** On Thursday, DSP shares fell 19%, marking the largest single-day drop since March 4, 2025. Previously, the company had launched a stock offering (link) on Wednesday evening, which was initiated by an entity affiliated with Viant co-founders—the Vanderhook brothers: Tim, Chris, and Russ.

** As of Thursday’s close, DSP shares were down about 17% year-to-date.

** According to LSEG data, all 11 analysts covering the stock are bullish; the median target price is $19.

** Viant conducted its initial public offering in 2021 at a price of $25 (link).
