On September 15, influenced by macroeconomic uncertainties and recent calls from leaders in the artificial intelligence sector to slow down industry development, the Seoul stock market fell for the fourth consecutive trading day, with the won depreciating against the dollar. The Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) dropped by 57.11 points, or 0.85%, closing at 6627.26 points. Analyst Lee Kyung-min from Daishin Securities stated, 'Although there are no new negative factors, investors are sensitive to external uncertainties such as rising interest rates and international oil prices.' After the yield on U.S. 10-year Treasury bonds surpassed 5%, the international benchmark Brent crude oil rose by approximately 1.6%, exceeding $107 per barrel.
