Baker Hughes, Venture Global Expand Collaboration to Develop 'Critical' US Gas Infrastructure

04:01 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Baker Hughes (BRK) and Venture Global LNG are expanding their collaboration to supply gas compression systems and a modular liquefaction service. The gas compression systems are for the cloud connector pipeline project in Louisiana, and the liquefaction services support the expansion of the Plaquemines LNG facility, according to a statement late Sunday that did not disclose the financial details of the deal. The "substantial" pipeline award includes 13 gas compression systems driven by Frame 5/2E gas turbines, Baker Hughes said. Under the "major" liquefaction award, the company will supply four liquefaction blocks, comprising eight liquefaction modules, to support additional LNG production capacity at the LNG facility.
