SHIB Bulls Face a Test as 463 Billion Tokens Move in Just 24 Hours

  • Exchange outflows reached 461.4 billion tokens, reducing exchange reserves.
  • SHIB must hold $0.00000495–$0.00000505 to preserve bullish recovery prospects.
  • Bulls could target $0.00000530, followed by $0.00000550–$0.00000570.

SHIB bulls have received a notable supply signal as hundreds of billions leave exchanges. Around 461.4 billion SHIB flowed out during the measured period. Meanwhile, exchanges recorded roughly 229 billion tokens entering their platforms. That created a negative netflow near 232.4 billion SHIB. Such movement can reduce immediate selling supply. However, weakening withdrawal activity leaves bulls facing another important test.

Exchange Outflows Give SHIB Bulls Some Hope

Exchange data shows a clear imbalance between SHIB inflows and outflows. Roughly 461.4 billion tokens left tracked exchanges during the period. About 229 billion SHIB moved into exchanges. The difference produced a negative netflow of approximately 232.4 billion tokens. More SHIB therefore left exchanges than entered them. Such a pattern can support prices when holders move tokens away.

Exchange reserves also declined during the same period. Total reserves fell 0.27% to roughly 86.97 trillion SHIB. Their dollar value also dropped 1.43% to around $440.9 million. Transfers increased only 0.87% to 4,429 during the period. That detail makes the outflow signal more interesting for traders. The movement did not come from a dramatic surge in transaction numbers.

Lower exchange balances can reduce immediately available selling liquidity. Persistent outflows may therefore create a supportive supply-side environment. Still, exchange flows cannot guarantee a sustained price recovery. The seven-day average tells a more cautious story for SHIB bulls. Average exchange outflows have fallen 37.5% from the recent baseline. This decline suggests withdrawal intensity has started losing momentum.

SHIB Price Outlook Hinges on Key Support

SHIB recently reversed from the September local high near $0.00000555. The token now trades close to $0.00000505 after the correction. The late-August recovery trendline also broke during the decline. Despite that setback, SHIB has reached an important support cluster. A longer-term moving average sits near $0.00000496. Another moving average currently rests around $0.00000504.

Together, these levels create support between $0.00000495 and $0.00000505. Bulls must defend this region to preserve the recovery structure. Holding support could allow buyers to rebuild short-term confidence. A successful rebound could first target $0.00000530. Stronger momentum could then push SHIB toward $0.00000550. A breakout above that level could open $0.00000570 as another target.

Momentum indicators currently offer limited support for the bullish case. The RSI has fallen toward 47.3, showing neutral-to-bearish momentum. RSI also remains below the signal level near 54.2. The current setup therefore presents both opportunity and risk. Exchange outflows provide bulls with a potentially supportive supply signal. However, fading withdrawal intensity could limit the impact of those flows.

AI trading stalls! Goldman Sachs warns of the biggest momentum divergence in 5 years, as funds shift from chips to software

Goldman Sachs warns that AI trading is facing a structural test, as the divergence between 3-month and 12-month momentum performance has reached a five-year high, and the AI Index has pulled back nearly 45% from its peak. Meanwhile, funds are shifting from semiconductors to software, accelerating the differentiation of the momentum factor. Goldman Sachs believes that if this round of movement continues, the long-standing high correlation between AI and momentum may gradually weaken.
