Vistra Launches Offering of Junior Subordinated Notes

09:50 AM EDT, 09/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Vistra (VST) said Thursday it is launching several series of junior subordinated unsecured notes in an underwritten public offering. The notes will be issued by its Vistra Operations unit, the company said. Net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including distributions to Vistra to back the redemption of its 8% series A fixed-rate reset cumulative redeemable perpetual preferred stock, as well as 7% series B fixed-rate reset cumulative redeemable green perpetual preferred stock.
