RTX's Pratt & Whitney Investing $25 Million in Precision Parts Manufacturing Facility in Poland

06:37 AM EDT, 09/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RTX (RTX) subsidiary Pratt & Whitney is investing $25 million to expand its manufacturing facility in Niepolomice, Poland, for the production of complex tubular assemblies for commercial and military engines, the company said Friday. The expanded facility is planned to be operational in 2028 and create more than 120 jobs. The site currently produces precision components for several engine programs, including the GTF engine used in commercial passenger aircraft, the PW800 business jet engine and the F135 engine used in all variants of the F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft. The investment is supported by the Polish government through the Polish Investment Zone Programme, RTX said.
