04:23 AM EDT, 08/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI said late Friday it notified SpaceX (SPCX) that it plans to end its contract to provide its models to Cursor, with access expected to stop on Nov. 12. OpenAI said the decision follows concerns about SpaceX's compliance with its contracts and terms of service. The company said a change in control of Cursor gave it a limited window to cancel the agreement and that it will not provide future models, including Astra, to Cursor.
