Amazon Expands AI Model Selection in US AWS GovCloud Region

04:23 AM EDT, 08/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Amazon.com (AMZN) has expanded the selection of artificial intelligence models available in its AWS GovCloud region in the US through Amazon Bedrock, the e-commerce giant said Sunday. The service now includes Amazon's Nova, Anthropic's Claude, Meta's (META) Llama, Nvidia's (NVDA) Nemotron, OpenAI's GPT series, and xAI's Grok. The cloud infrastructure provides an isolated environment for US government agencies and regulated organizations, Amazon said. The system allows users to access different models using one application interface.
