PPL's Rhode Island Energy Receives Distribution Rate Case Approval

The commission authorized annual revenue increases of $44.1 million for electric and $93.7 million for gas, a return on equity of 9.275%, according to the filing. The approved rate changes will be effective as of September 1. A final written order is expected to be filed by the commission in the coming weeks, per the filing.
