(1) The German government stated on Friday that gas operators are actively replenishing storage facilities, with current storage levels at 51.64% of capacity, and injection volumes have significantly increased in recent days. (2) The government pointed out that recently, the trend in natural gas prices has improved, and competition for LNG cargoes from Asia has weakened, creating conditions for Europe to secure more LNG supply. (3) Germany aims to increase gas storage to 70% of capacity by early November; the energy industry organization BDEW said this month that although the target is challenging, it remains achievable.
