Vizsla Copper Provides Initial Results from Its Summer Drill Program at the Woodjam Project in British Columbia

09:54 AM EDT, 08/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Vizsla Copper (VCU.V) was last seen up 14% after the company on Tuesday reported the initial drill results from its recently completed summer drill program at the Woodjam project in British Columbia. Results from the Deerhorn deposit include 48.5 meters of 3.32% copper, 0.23 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, and 16.59 g/t silver, as well as 266.0 meters of 0.97% copper, 0.06 g/t gold, and 4.29 g/t silver, the mineral exploration company said Wednesday. Vizsla said the results represent the strongest mineralization that the company has encountered at the project to date. The company plans to conduct follow-up drilling on the high-grade zones and its potential extensions. Vizsla shares were last seen up C$0.18 to C$1.51 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
